\"How about a nice cup of tea?\" asks the March Hare of Alice during the most famous un-birthday party ever held. Poor Alice actually does not get to have any tea--but to make it up to her in the future, perhaps a cup of THIS size ought to be offered to her!

Here is a beautiful white ceramic teacup direct from Walt Disney\'s 1951 animated classic Alice In Wonderland, though this 5-inch deep cup is not intended to hold any beverage at all: it is a planter!

This smooth white oversized ceramic cup, with separate, blue-edged saucer, was released by The Disney Store\'s online equivalent around 2008. The cup itself has a hole in the bottom so that the plant inside, when watered, will have a little bit of drainage.

Inside The Teacup Planter

The decoration on this lovely indoor-use planter is the same on both sides. The image is of Alice herself talking with the White Rabbit, who looks like he just might be running late again. The cup\'s art has been taken directly from the cover of the 1951 Little Golden Book Alice In Wonderland Meets The White Rabbit, which was illustrated by Disney Legend Al Dempster.

Still in its original box, completely new and un-used, this whimsical teacup would be a wonderful way to brighten any room.

Although this teacup is large--sadly, it\'s not large enough to take a ride in! That will have to wait until your next visit to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. In the meantime...maybe you know some violets or greenery that might like to \"take a whirl!\"
