This is an original production animation model cel used during production of the 1980s Disney Studio TV series "Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears". Based on the production numbers on the model cels I have, they all appear to be from the earlier seasons (1986 & 1987). This model cel features Marzipan transforming from a woman to a witch. The overall piece measures 10.5" x 12.5." Model cels are created during show production with the same techniques as screen shot cels so that the animators and cel painters have consistent character designs and colors. Model cels, like this one, tend to feature "hero poses" of characters or items that are some of the best imagery found. This cel is in very good shape. It is still stapled along the top edge to the original piece of backing paper and xerox model sheet(which can be removed) from the studio. The piece includes a Van Eaton Galleries certificate of authenticity.Buyer pays $10.00 for shipping via Priority Mail in the United States. International rates depend on your location.
