Available is arare front page that came from aMarch 17,1917 San Francisco Bulletin newspaper that features large bold headlines announcing that Czar Nicholas is in hiding following the success of the Russian Revolution and that his younger brother is waiting to accept the crown until a popular vote is completed validating him as ruler ofRussia. Please keep in mind that newspapers from this era tend to have high acid content partly due to how the paper was made and partly due to the absorption of pollutants. This combination results in the deterioration of the paper over time making it increasingly brittle especially on the edges. As a result, these pages must be handled with the utmost care due to their delicate nature. The newspaper and/or newspaper pages will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube.
