The Forbes family were relatedto the Hall-Dare family (from whom this cdv comes).

Size of the cdv is 6cm x10cm approx. (including the mount board).

Condition is good andcomplete with slight faults only including some speckling and also has scuffsto the corners/edges.

Please note, the‘mementoes’ logo is not on the actual cdv.

This cdv comes from acollection of items that belonged to the Hall-Dare family, (see below).

RobertWestley Hall-Dare was born on 8 June 1840 and was the son of Robert WestleyHall-Dare and Frances Anne Catharine Lambart.

He marriedCaroline Susan Henrietta Newton, daughter of Henry Newton and Elizabeth Jane Doyne, on 27 October 1863.

He died on18 March 1876 at age 35.

He heldthe office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Wexford.

He heldthe office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow and also for CountyWexford.

He heldthe office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1868 and for County Wexford in1872.

He lived atTheydon Bois, Essex, England and also at NewtownbarryHouse, Bunclody, County Wexford, Ireland.
