This is a wonderful dual purpose feeder. The center can be utilized for feed that will accommodate many kinds of birds. On both side are two perches, the plexi-glass can be removed for cleaning. Simply lift the top and place the seed in by releasing the two leather straps on either side. The two sides have cages that suet, fruit or nuts can be placed in for feeding bird species like woodpeckers, orioles and other birds that love to feed this way.This feeder can be placed on a deck rail, 4x4 post or by simply adding some picture hanging hardware can be hung from anywhere. I build these out of fresh cedar. I use rust resistant screws that will last for a good time. The side cages are stapled securely. This feeder will provide you with countless hours of bird watching enjoyment.
