This 8 1/2 \" luncheon plate shows two monks bestowing sainthood upon the \"thief\" when the Cardinal\'s ring was returned. The words are \"So they canonized him by the name of Jim Crow!\" The back of this plate has faint overall crazing, but is free from cracks. There is a small bubble on the back made during its manufacture. The mark on the back is D2532, and there is an impressed 1-31. I have other plates listed in this series, so will be glad to combine bought ones to save shipping costs.
