The condition of a particular piece of vintage jewelry is very subjective and you might rate a piece differently than me. Therefore, to eliminate as much ambiguity as possible I use the follow criterion when grading my vintage jewelry.

Item condition is rated by four categories:

Excellent-No wear or cleaning needed

Good- Little wear or cleaning needed(Most of theitems are in this category, some enamel may be missing)

Fair- Heavy wear or cleaning needed(Maybe some Metal loss or Chipping, or Obvious Scratches)

Poor- Needs repair(Regardless of condition if clasp is broken or needs rhinestone I will put in this category)
