This set of 2 vintage German Democratic RepublicDregeno Erzgebirge wood place card holders are perfect examples of this folkware. I bought them at a German Christmas Market back in the 1970s. They have natural wear and with a little bit of paint chipping here and there but are in very good condition with perfect faces and the bases are place card holders and themselves in excellent condition. The painting is bright and vibrant and clean. These will make a adorable table decoration.
