From Factory in Solingen, GermanyDistributed by F. W. Engels, New YorkThis was owned by my father-in-law. It is in good condition generally - the blade is in excellent condition and is very sharp. There are no chips or nicks on the blade edge and no rust. This has been wrapped up and in a box with other personal things for at least the last 30 years (he passed on in 1988) but probably much longer as he used an electric razor from before I met him in 1976! This model was sold between the end of WWII and 1952 which was the time period he would have been barbering. When I first opened it I noticed that he had oiled the blade thoroughly before storing it.The blade is bright and shiny - very hard to take a picture because it causes glare.
