A rare c1860 Freeman A. Durgin sterling silver Persian four piece tea set.

First listed 1858 St. Louis, Ms.

Archaic bottle form.

All over hand carved Persian floral in exceptionally high relief,

atop unique scattered leaf background.

Bun cover with leaf framed bud finial.

Leaf crown flower decorated spout and handle, original heat stops.

Never monogrammed.

Hallmarked as shown.

This c1860 Freeman A. Durgin sterling Persian teapot is 9 1/2 inches

handle to spout and set weighs 78 standard ounces.

Excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina.

Stands perfectly firm on table or display shelf. Handle secure, retains original heat stops.
