This is a very old and restorable mantle clock by E F Caldwell New York

I will start with the apologies

The dial is cracked - see pictures

The hour hand has broken and been over lap glued together. I\'m sure this could be fixed

The clock doesn\'t run but the movement is there I think it just needs cleaned. It ran for a couple hours then stopped

The glass cover for the clock face is missing

Other than these things the clock is quite nice. Appears to be bronze but I am uncertain of that. The chains are not broken. It\'s all there outside the glass cover. For the right person this is probably very restorable and a very rare clock. These clocks command quite high dollar in pristine condition. I have no idea of its value in this condition but it\'s far from being a throw away piece. In the right hands it could be brought back to its former self. I have played with this clock a bit and it will run for several minutes and then stop. Maybe it\'s the wheel or its gummed up. But the movement works.
