Unsigned ELLEN CLAPSADDLE July 4th Postcard.

On the front is a colorful lithographic illustration of an eagle perched above the Liberty Bell.

The art work could very well be that of Ellen Clapsaddle, for it epitomizes her style.

Printed in pre-WWI Germany, and published by the International Art Publishing Co. (one of Clapsaddle\'s favorite publishers), this beautifully embossed postcard has not been postally used and has handwriting on its divided back.

CONDITION: Expected light soiling and corner blunting. A small bit of surface and edge wear. No creases or rips. A light-red vertical mark at the left edge. Vivid colors. Clear image. Wonderful artistry. Nice condition for this 100+ year-old antique.
