Description: Original very rare turn of the 20th century antique / vintage 14K gold / sterling silver mens Lutheran minister\'s pendant necklace. Very unique \"one of a kind\" piece. Would make a nice gift in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation or for a collector of Martin Luther memorabila. It is the Luther seal rose approximately 1 3/4\" in diameter. The black braided rope necklace is 36\" long and goes through the clip on the back and is adjustable. It appears to be leather. Ends of the necklace have 2\" ornaments. It is stamped on the back with DTL; 14K; and sterling. One jewler told me the braid going around the edge is 14K gold and another told me the center heart and cross is 14K gold. The rose is sterling silver. The letters \"DTL\" may have been the initials of the person who made it. This belonged to a Lutheran minister in the early 1900\'s in Alberta, Canada who was a circuit rider. Then he was called to the east coast in Connecticut for a time. The silver is tarnished and has not been cleaned. Good condition for a rare item over 100 years old.You can use your mouse over the last 6 photos to view close ups.
