This \'good for\' token is from the Continental Trust Company in Denver, Colorado, and it dates to the early 1900s. One side states the name and location (in the Continental Building in Denver) of the bank, with an indication that 4% interest was paid on savings accounts. The wording on the reverse indicates that this was a \'good for\' token - this token along with 50 cents would provide a one dollar deposit to open a new savings account. This tokenmeasures approximately 29 mm (1-1/8\") in diameter, and it is composed of brass.

This item is in good condition, with even wear, toning, and soiling.
