This early 1900s Masonic penny token is from the Highland Chapter No. 52 R. A. M. in Newburgh, New York. The design on the obverse shows a radiant Delta over a mountainous coastline, with chapter identification along the rim. The reverse has images of a large ornate keystone, mallet, and chisel plus the words ONE PENNY. This item was struck very well, with bold design and lettering. There is no mark for manufacturer or metal content, but the composition appears to be copper. This pennymeasures approximately 28 mm (nearly 1-1/8\") in diameter.

This item is in very fine condition, with light wear, toning, and some soiling, and it remains bright. A coin collector would describe this item as \'red and brown\' due to brownish toning by retention of some of the original reddish copper color (not evident in photos).
