This is a very interesting Carey\'stureen base ofwhich:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the early 19th century.
Dates about c1820s.
Underneath the Carey\'s logo with: The Lady of the Lake pattern.
We are informed a rare and sought after pattern.
Of an english origin.
Pottery.
Tureen base with the blue & white decoration of : the Lady of the Lake around the circumference.
Decorative handle to the ends.
It has an overall height of about 3.25inches.
It has an overall size including handles of about 7.25 x 4.25inches.
Base size of about 4.75 x 2.75inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is subject to:
chipping to the handles to the edges with:
glaze chipping to the base, rim and to an area by the handle.
No lid.
Due to age: areas of age staining internally.

Besides being a very collectable, early 19th century Carey\'s blue & white tureen base with the blue & white \"Lady of the Lake\" pattern, c1820s, would also look fabulous displayed.
