- DESIGN: A superb and impressive early matched pair of solid Brass Faries Industrial Machine Age table lamps with pleated Milk glass shades circa 1890. The lamps elegantly arched arm extends from the heavily weighted base via the main support tube with further position adjustment of the socket/shade assembly via the joint assembly at the socket. Manufactured completely of polished Solid Brass throughout (aside from the heavy cast iron inner base) all extremely well engineered and machined.
- CONDITION: This impressive pair of lamps are in exceptional original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Very faint finish wear and light patina to the Brass with no damage or repair issues aside from some light dimples on the Brass base shrouds and a wire hole drilled in one of the Brass hook armatures (no doubt to run the wire through the tube at one time) which is largely hidden from view . Original matching Bryant paddle switch sockets have been inspected and are functional and safe, power cords have been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire. Brass fitter rings with patent dates of \"Dec 9, 1890, Sept 6 1896\" securely position the opulescent Milk Glass pleated shades which are virtually perfect with no chips, cracks or flaws.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps adjust from 22\"-28\" tall with a general width of 11\", the shades are about 8.5\" in diameter…filament bulbs are NOT included.
