- DESIGN: A very early and versatile \"Faries\" Industrial Brass Articulating Shop Lamp circa 1900\'s. The lamp articulates up and down the heavily weighted base via the main support tube and offers further adjustment of the socket/shade assembly fore and aft via the same 2-way joint coupling. Completely manufactured of solid Brass throughout (aside from the cast iron weighted sub base) and very well engineered and machined. Original socket and fitter hold a beautiful opulescent Milk glass fluted disk shaped shade.
- CONDITION: This impressive lamp is in excellent original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Moderate finish wear and slight tarnish patina with no damage or repair issues aside from adjustment marks on the \"T\" cross bar rod. Original paddle key socket has been inspected and appears clean and safe, the power cord has been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire. The opulescent Milk Glass flutted shade is free of any chips or cracks aside from some roughness around the fitter ring which are completely hidden in position. Fitter rings bears a patent date of Dec 9. 1890.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 22\" tall with an overall width of 14\", the shade is 8\" in diameter…filament bulb is NOT included.
