Authentic, early medieval larger Cross pendant handmade or cast from a brass-like copper and tin alloy, quite heavy, but nonmagnetic (might include some lead as a part of the alloy). Covered with rare light-colored patina, or metal discoloration due to aging. Exact age unknown, could have been cast in the early Medieval period or earlier. A cautious approach would date the cross as an artifact from 9th - 10th centuries.
The style of the pendant is similar to the earliest Northern European, Northern Slavic, or Viking (Varangian) cross pendants.
