- DESIGN: A very early and versatile large Industrial Brass Articulated Shop Lamp circa 1890\'s. The lamp articulates up and down from the heavily weighted base via the main support tube and offers further adjustment of the socket/shade assembly fore and aft via the same 2 way joint. Completely manufactured of solid Brass throughout and very well engineered and machined. Patent marking is clearly evident on the shade fitter of \"Dec 9 1890/Sept 29,1896\", which holds a nice opulescent Milk glass pleated disk shade.
- CONDITION: This impressive lamp is in superb original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Mild finish wear and slight tarnish patina with no damage or repair issues. Original paddle socket has been inspected and appears clean and safe, the power cord has been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire. The opulescent Milk Glass pleated disk shaped shade is pristine and free of any chips or cracks with some beautiful pearlescent like molding patterns in the glass.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 23\" tall with an overall width of 18\", the shade is 8\" in diameter…filament bulb is NOT included.
