Two small plates or bowls made of solid copper. These have always been together as a set. Only the larger or outer one is marked with the early Orb Roycroft logo with a single R. Possibly intended to be ash receivers rather than ashtrays. Measures approx. 3 3 /4\" wide x 5/8\" high. No flaws other than oxidized spotting which a good polish will cure. The larger plate has a hammered textured design, predominantly along the rim. Early 1900s.
