EARLY SILVER HAND STAMPED SIGNED NAVAJO CONCHO BELT :

This is a rare early circa 1930’s hand stamped, solid sterling silver concho belt. Signed HT and tests at least sterling silver, probably ingot silver. There are 9 conchos plus the large buckle. Someone shortened the leather belt but there are plenty of conchos to spread out on a new belt to accommodate a larger size, I don’t think any are missing someone just put them all very close together. Each concho is 2.25 inches by 1.75 inches. The buckle is 3 inches by 2.5 inches. Current belt length is 29 inches, the piece will accommodate a 1.25 inch wide leather belt if you want to switch it out. The backs of the conchos are copper, this is how the early conchos were crafted. Total gram weight is 296.6 with leather belt attached. The pieces are heavy individually as well not lightweight like the more contemporary Indian concho belts. An excellent price for this quality of belt, I’ve seen them priced 2 and 3 times this much.
