This early antique gentleman\'s pocket watch measures 45mm (1.75\") across the outer case x16mm (.75\") deep with the dial measuring 32mm (1.25\") across. It is marked to the movement Gu Bourn 8082 and the case is marked with a makers stamp and the same number. It dates to the mid 1700\'s and has a beautifully decorated balance cock as well as a tompion regulator, it is not in working order although as far as I can see the chain is still present and the spring to the balance wheel is ok, when you attempt to wind it up the hands move round so it will need some skilled attention and is sold as spares or repairs only. As the photos show both the inner and outer case have considerable wear to the finish and have no dents or restoration and I have left them exactly as I found them complete with a Victorian ladies picture behind the back cloth.
