Awonderful authentic 1920 -1930 french art decolampby the famous Parisian blacksmith Edgar Brandt. The forged base is signed E.Brandt and holds a large shade by Daum. Note how detailed the ginko biloba leaves are hammered out of rigid iron. See the craftsmanship in every small detail of the base. This model exist in several sizes and was sold by Brandt with both alabaster shades and coloured glass paste shades by Schneider or by Daum. The last picture of my ad shows the base represented in the 1926 Edgar Brandt catalogue.We can\'t find a high quality Brandt on every month.The height of the lamp is 40.5 cm (15-15/16\"). The shade has a diameter of 15.7 cm (6-3/16\"). It\'s inexcellentcondition.The lamp isrewired with twisted rayon covered cord, new plug andswitch. It holds a B22 bayonet socket for which a bulb will be added. If you want I can replace it for a new european E14 socket.I can wire the lampfor the US with a new candelabra base socket and 2-prong plug. The lampwill be shippedwith insured priority mail. La grande tulipe est signée à la pointe Daum Nancy France.La hauteur de la lampe est de 40,5 cm et le diamètre de la tulipe est de 15,7 cm. La lampe est en excellent état.Le câblage électrique a été refait à l\'ancienne; fil tissu torsadé.Elleest dotée d\'une douille à baïonnette B22, pour laquelle une ampoule sera fournie. Je peux toutefois remplacer cette douille parune douilleà vis E14sur simple demande. Livraison gratuit. Les paiements par virement bancaire sont acceptés ainsi que Paypal.
