EDWARDIAN ANTIQUE HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER MINIATURE PLAYING CARD BOX - 1903:

This is a superb antique solid silver (hallmarked) miniature playing card box, complete with the two original sets ofminiature cards.

It is approx. 5.2cm (less than 2.5”)high and 3.5cm (just under 1.5”) square.

It has dents on the corners and a fewpin-like marks on one side and the base. It is an exquisite container but this is commensurate with its age.

It is hallmarked Grey & Co, London with an anchor,lion and the letter h, (1903) making it Edwardian.

Grey & Co were noted for their novelties in silver and supplied retail establishments such as Aspreys in London.
