Here we have a lovely quality solid silver English hallmarked
napkin clip featuring an unusual shield shaped design
incorporating a vacant cartouche, and a raised spherical
attachment to the rear for securing the napkin when closed.Please view the pictures above as they hopefully show all in detail.Bears the makers mark \'HJC\' for H J Cooper & Co Ltd, the anchor
for Birmingham, the lion denoting sterling silver, and the date
letter \'s\' for 1917.Measures 3.5 cms long and weighs 4.5g (all approximate).Excellent condition with only minor surface scratches as expected
