EGYPTIAN CAMEL IN AN OASIS~SOLID BRASS&BLUE-ING~FAB ETCHINGS~V.V.RARE/V.OLD:

Going through the many, many boxes that I inherited, that were stored in an air conditioned storage down here in Florida, I found this very old and definitely very rare (since I searched and searched and could not find another) solid brass with blue-ing Camel that I believe was made in Egypt. I really don\'t know if this camel is just a sculpture or not because it has two hooks on top that might even be used as an old pen/pencil holder. The other thing I can\'t figure out is all the symbol etchings~I mean, the pictures tell a story, the etchings have a camel with pyramids and palm trees, etc., etc. This camel I believe is in solid brass with patinaand, when I mentioned blue-ing that is because there looks to be a blue paint for the water in the oasis and the front of the camel\'s legs and edgings are blue. VERY, VERY UNIQUE!!! This is a beautiful piece of art that is totally edged around the corners, and a lot of etchings, and embossing. So, if anyone out there has any info on the base etchings or anything about this beautiful camel sculpture then I would love your input.
