Here are two (2) original letters from 1956.
1) First is a two-page handwritten letter from Mrs. C.S. Bush to Eleanor Roosevelt, praising Mrs. Roosevelt and asking her to do something about the school system.
Instead of answering Mrs. Bush, Eleanor Roosevelt decided to write a letter to her close friend Mrs. Georgiana Sibley, who Eleanor felt would be better equipped to advise Mrs. Bush with her request.
2) Second is a July 19, 1956 one-page typed letter from Eleanor Roosevelt to Georgiana Sibley.
On the bottom, Eleanor Roosevelt hand-signed her name in blue ink. Our \"Certificate of Authenticity\" will be included.
Mrs. Roosevelt also crossed out the typed name \"Mrs. Sibly\" and hand-wrote \"Georgie\" in blue ink.
She also crossed out the typed closing \"Very sincerely\" and hand-wrote \"Affectionately\" in blue ink.
This letter has Eleanor Roosevelt\'s printed letterhead name and New York City address on the top.

The Eleanor Roosevelt letter has a horizontal center fold line, and a brown \"paper clip\" mark on the top left edge where these two letters were once clipped together.
The letter itself is in overall very good condition.
The Eleanor Roosevelt signature is very clean.
The letter written by Mrs. C.S. Bush has age toning and is in overall very good condition.
