For your consideration I am offering this gorgeous, large, 19th century Jardiniere from ENGLAND by Doulton Burslem This large, hand painted pottery jardieniere depicting a beautiful floral arrangements in pink decorated with embellished gold trim on a cream background ..Measures 10.5 inches in height by 10 inches sponge gold rim diameter, base diameter is 6.5 inches rim diameter with a circumference of 40 inches ..Back stamp states Doulton Burslem, England with crown on manufactured symbol along with impressed #\'s 2694 and #\'s 12 ..This Doulton Burslem logo was used during the timeline of 1891-1902 prior to adding the Royal name for Royal Doulton..Impressed initals by the artist RA (Robert Allen)

Robert Allenworked for Doultons at Burslem as a designer from 1870 to 1929, starting there when it was still Pinder Bourne....He became head of department and lead a team of artists and craftsmen turning out the most expensive types of fine china. Items signed by him are rare, but items made under his direction with ‘RA’ and a number are much more common.

Light signs of previous use should be expected consistent with age, Overall condition is excellent,free ofchips, cracks or restorations, stains, very light scrape marking in the interior of jardiniere, just want to be accurate with my description, light crazing typical of porcelain..Showcase quality..Any imperfections do seem to be craft related - one area of the flowers have some white - not sure f this was planned or craft related....

Comes from a smoke-free home, but we do have pets in our household, so there might be some fly away pet hair, so I am apologizing in advance...
