English sterling silver gravy ladle with a crowned rooster crest hand engraved on the fiddle handle end. The ladle weighs 2.2 troy oz. and measures 7 inches long and 2 3/8 inches across the bowl. Marked on the back of the handle with the English hallmarks: the duty mark, the date letter \"g\" for 1822, the lion for sterling, the leopard\'s head for London guild, and the maker \"RP\". There are very fine shallow surface scratches overall and some scuffing on the end of the handle, otherwise in fine antique condition.
