Up for sale with is a fine estate Collection of 4 Antique Silver Articulated Figural Fish Snuff or Spice Boxes. If you are familiar with my sales you will know I have sold a fine collection of these over the past month and they garnered quite a bit of interest. The Estate asked me to sell these four as well, but they each have minor condition issues so I have decided to sell them as one fine lot. The Fish are all very fine quality and I believe they would all be some Grade of Solid Silver, but to be safe I am going to sell them as Silver Plated. The First Fish is a very example with fully articulated body and an unusual screw closure and turquoise ? eyes. The 2nd Fish is also fully articulated with a screw on lid. The Lid has a small crack and is missing one fin plus the tail end is loose. The 3rd Fish had a half articulated body with glass eyes. It is missing the pin in the hinge and the button closure, though it displays very nicely. The last but not least Fish is a fully articulated example again with Turquoise ? eyes. I don\'t know if this example opens or not. The Smallest Fish measures 4\" long and the Largest Fish measures 5-3/8\" long and the lot combined weighs 101 grams. I doubt you will find another lot like this up for sale again, let alone with !
