Antique French Peugeot Freres Coffee Grinder

An antique French Peugeot Freres coffee grinder in excellent condition

It is a Valenigney (Daubs) model which was made between 1881 and 1910

It is wood with a painted metal dome, curved metal shank and wood knobs

It is undamaged, in working order with light age/use dirt, wear and marks

It is 9.5\" high x 5.7 square (24 x 14.5 cm) and weighs 930g (2 lbs)

The wood is in lovely, smooth condition and has a beautiful age patina

It has no damage, just light dirt and marks, and a very faint varnish shine

The brass plaque says Peugeot Freres Modele Depose Valentigney (Daubs)

The center of the plaque features a walking lion-on-an-arrow logo

The silver metal dome was painted green and has the remnants of old paint

The drawer has its original sprung metal side clips that hold it in the box

The grinding mechanism has normal coffee remains/ stains but no metal rust

This is a charming antique coffee grinder in beautiful condition for its age
