What they don\'t account for in that is that the standard priority box only comes with $50 insurance, and any additional is extra, with tiered rates depending on total value. Many of the items I sell exceed this amount, even if the initial offer is beneath the $50 threshold. Also, my packages are F\'ing bombproof. Check the response. I literally pack my stuff so that if it falls out of the plane and floats down river to you, it will be in the same shape that it left my house. Even the bubble-enveloped ones. Double sealed against moisture and bolstered by cardboard on the inside. That\'s just standard. Delicate or breakable items get extra protection on top of that. I have never had something damaged in shipment, and some of these guys are brutal with the deliveries, I\'ve seen \'em in action! I get your item to you fast, safely and fully insured. I LOSE MONEY REGULARLY BECAUSE OF MY COMMITMENT TO SHIP THIS SECURELY. Usually by a buck or two. Two weeks prior to writing this, a VERY happy customer received a huge package of goods, for which he paid $25 in shipping. It cost me over $50 with the appropriate insurance amount at the Postal counter, and that doesn\'t include my packing materials! However, I consider this to be a cost of business, and I love making people happy. I\'m not an \"evil capitalist\" because sometimes it appears that I \"get over\" with a \"high\" shipping cost of $7 or $8 for something that can be \"dropped in a box\" for $6.80!!!!!!!!! As I said, I\'d rather not have to make this long-winded statement. But I\'m tired of the cheapskates, to be blunt and plain about it.
