An excellent, scarce, Russian porcelainfigure of a bearded peasant, carrying a basket of vegetables on his back. From the Popov factory and dating to the 19th Century. Finely detailed and coloured, in a semi=matt glaze. Impressed Cyrillic monogram AI on the base. Measuring 6.75\" high and invery goodcondition apart from some losses to the basket\'s shoulder strap (see photo 7).
