Here for your pipe collecting consideration is a Rare Vintage 1970\'s estate pipe made by Elliot Nachwalter & Jorg Jemeika of The Briar Workshop. Notice the white snowflake logo is beautiful as are the double signatures on the right side shank of Elliot & Jorg. The exceptional 360 straight grain is amazing and the pipe itself is in mint condition. Notice the fabulous birds eye on the bowl top. The yellowish acrylic mouthpiece is in very good condition with only a tiny tooth mark on the underside & a small nick on the top of the bits left side about 3/8\" from the button. Neither can be seen in the photos because they are so minimal. Left shank reads THE BRIAR WORKSHOP STOWE,VT. USA DESIGNERS/PIPEMAKERS. weight is 1.2oz, approx length 5 1/8\", approx height 2\", approx diameter 1 5/8\" and approx bowl chamber is 7/8\".
This pipe comes from the collection of my father Elliot Abel, founder & owner of Tobacco Corner Ltd since 1969. My dad sold these pipes in his shop along with thousands of others. He passed in January at the age of 87 & now I feel it is time to let his prized collection go to new homes to be enjoyed once again. My dad loved his pipe smoking & I feel he would want another pipe smoking enthusiast to enjoy his pipes as much as he did. Elliot Nachwalter had a pipe on his website almost identical & sold it for $295. My asking price is very fair for this rare pipe that you don\'t see all that often.
