Please scroll down below description for more pictures.Just back from a truffling trip around Provence and I am starting to list my latest treasures....This trip I made another visit to an old brocanteur way up in the mountains who had emptied an old perfume distillery many years ago. The distillery had closed down in the 30s and had distilled, bottled and labelled perfumes for many Paris perfumeries.
I came away with a batch of divine 1920s bottles that had never been used and simply stored in tissue paper away from the light.
This beautiful petite bottle is typically 1920s Art Deco in shape and the label is simply divine.
The label reads LILAS with a bouquet of Lilac below.
The old cork is still in place and the bottle measures:
Height 6.5cms ( not including the cork)
Width 4.7cms
Depth max 1.5cms.
