EXQUISITE ANTIQUE FRENCH RELIQUARY WITH PAPEROLLES circa 1850 WITH VIGNETTE

Please scroll down below description for more pictures.This is an exquisite antIque French reliquary from the mid 1800s.
All original I have not touched it and have left it just as it was found.
The outer frame is ebonised wood and the domed glass is all intact.
Below the glass is a small central vignette surrounded by tiny beads gilded paperolles with a saint`s name in sepia ink.
So difficult to photograph with the domed glass!!
A divine and genuine period confection that measures 7.8cms x 9cms x 7.8cms.
The back has a small hanging ring and the remains of a wax seal.
Perfect for any period collection or vieille maison display.
