Exquisitedetail, artfully rendered instunning hand painted polychrome enamels and sublime raised gilding, representing the finest of Japanese Meiji Satsuma ware.The superbscene wraps completely around the main body of this spectacular vase:Theelegant figures, consist of the wise sages and Bodhisattvas who assist people during their life and guide them into the realm of enlightenment.Tastefully attired in precisely brocaded kimonos, engaged invarious pastimes, and surrounded by spiritual accoutrements, thefigures engage in conversation, fan themselves, andread from scrolls, all for the benefit of sentient beings.All theimagery is exceptionally rendered in sublime coloration, further highlighted with museum quality raised gilding.Astounding minute detail. Absolutely stunning, withhighly detailedadditional patterning adorning the neck and base of this magnificent vase.
