This sale is for an exquisite hand painted Coronet Chocolate Pot from Limoges France. It is beautifully decorated with heavy gold acorns and leaves against lustrous white porcelain. This is an unusual shape with long elegant rippled handle. I believe it dates to the later part of the 19th century. Condition is wonderful with no damage to the porcelain. There is wear to the gold at the top around the inside rim and at the point on the handle where the thumb would put pressure when pouring. This piece is 11\" tall by approx. 5\" wide at the base. It is marked on the bottom as shown with the green Limoges star mark and theCoronet Limoges mark. Awonderful piece to grace any fine collection! We ship with extreme care.
