THE TILE HAS THE ARTIST\'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOWER LEFT , IT IS MOUNTED ON A WOOD PANEL WITH THE ORIGINAL GLASS FRAME WITH THE MAKERS SIGNATURE SEAL ON BACK , PLEASE SEE PICTURES .

Kato Takuo (1917-2005) , the Japanese ceramicist who was influenced by and produced Persian-related pieces.is a sixth generation potter in his family , He started to research the forgotten Persian ceramics manufacturing technique of the last golden age of Persian ceramics manufacture of the 12th and 13th centuries , he was able to rediscover the Persian luster-glaze method, lost to the sands of time, as well as the Persian blue glaze and three-color glaze techniques. This was a significant discovery in the world of Western Asian ceramics culture , during the era of the Seljuk Empire . he won several prizes including the Tokuse Hokutosho from Japan Nitten Art Organization. His work was also Exhibited in the Silk road Exhibition which was held in Nara Japan .
