\"Sunny\"

Description

Allow me to introduce you to 22” tall “Sunny”.

She is a bundle of joy with her little antics about the annual Bunny tea held at her local tree knot café.

Sunny wears an adorable sunflower outfit of yellow, brown, blue, green and white. Her dress was trimmed in matching mustard yellow lace around the hemline and sleeve edges.

She also wears muslin bloomers which have cuffs made from the sunflower fabric.

Her apron is absolutely adorable!! I needlepunched the bib on muslin which is a momma chick greeting her new hatched baby chick into the world. “Peep” is peeking out of her egg shell.

The skirt portion of her apron is a yellow background with white sunflower or daisy print. I trimmed around the hemline and around the bib area with some mustard colored wide cotton ric rac trim. Apron ties at neck and waist into bows in the back.

Sunny has a painted body with separately stitched on eyelids. Her eyes are painted blue and she has a pink muzzle, ear insets and foot pads.

I hand stitched her nose and mouth on with floss. She also has several freckles and sisal whiskers.

Her wired ears can be posed tall or rounded, however, you choose. They peek out of her yellow striped (decorated egg print) fabric which was made in the bonnet style. It is held onto her head with antique yellow silk ribbon.

Lastly, she comes with an 8” tall sunflower on a twig which is not permanently attached to Sunny, but rather I stuck the twig into her apron waistband.

This design would be wonderful to add to your spring decorating, but could be left out year round. Photos do not do her justice and looking at her, you would swear she could tell you some great stories!

She has been heavily stained and comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind collectible design which is not a toy nor intended for children’s use or play.
