Gorgeous carved and gilt vintage custom French Impressionist style frame. The frame formerly housed a fine painting by noted French Cubist artist Fernand Leger. There are labels, verso. The frame housed a work that sold for 7 figures.
The frame is very well made, carved, and gilt. The frame is vintage and was likely from the mid-20th C (possibly later). It was quite likely custom made and construction is likely American. It is a genuinely beautiful frame.

Rabbet (picture size) - 20 1/4\" x 26 1/2\"
