For sale is this breathtaking antique Islamic rectangular tray. The tray is Syrian. It has been chased with beautiful geometric Arabesque Islamic patterns.

It has also been inlaid with silver and copper with some fine and beautiful calligraphy. The quality of the tray is superior to others that I have seen and the finish is stunning.

It has also been dated with the numbers \"1209\" but with Arabic numerals. I am not sure if the date is authentic.

Size

The length of the tray is 40.5cm= 15.9 inches.

The width of the tray is 30.3cm= 11.9 inches.

It weighs a very heavy 1.343KG.

The tray is in excellent condition. No damage. It has some holes drilled to the sides and a piece of wire put through it so it can be hung from a wall if you wish. Please see the photos below.
