EXTREMELY RARE 18TH CENTURY ANTIQUE OVAL STEEL PADLOCK & KEY LOCK 1770 CIRCA:

This is for a VERY rare and quiteunusual antique oval steel padlock with its key from the mid to late 1700s.

It is a sort of integral loop really the lock forms a oval.

The steel has a keyhole cut out that the key fits into and when turns springs the lock.

Its a very well made little piece and its very tactilewith a quality feel to it and good patina to the steel.

It is in excellentcondition with no damage to it anywhere and fully working with original key.
