EXTREMELY RARE 18TH CENTURY JAPANESE OFFICER KYU GUNTO SWORD FAMILY CREST KATANA:
$3499.99
Here is an extremely rare old family blade in Russo-Japanese War Army Officer Kyu-gunto mounts.
The blade was made on \"A lucky day of the 2nd month of the 11th year of the Horeki/or Horyaku era\", which translates to 1751+(11-1) = 1761
Oite Edo Kanda saku kore (made in Kanda district of Tokyo). The smith\'s name is Yasunori.
The scabbard doesn\'t seem to be a good match for this sword but was found with it.
Nice family crest (mon) on top of the handle. The wooden peg is a replacement.
The handle, and seppa are all stamped with the same number.
Great blade in good condition. Some light spots on the blade.
