  • VERY RARE ANTIQUE CHINESE 1640'S TRANSITIONAL KANGXI PERIOD VASE.
  • THIS IS A VERY RARE sale FOR WHAT REMAINS OF THIS VASE AS IT CAME FROM A EXCAVATION WHEN A NUMBER OF ITEMS WHERE FOUND.IT BEARS THE TRANSITIONAL LEAF MARK ON ITS BASE AND HAS IMPERIAL 5 CLAWED DRAGONS DISPLAYED WHICH WAS FORofferDEN DURING THIS PERIOD AND IT IS BELIEVED THIS VASE WAS ORDERED DESTROYED BECAUSE OF IT WITH EACH DRAGON HAVING A EYE REMOVED.IT IS VERY THICK WHICH I A REASON WHY THE MAIN BODY HAS REMAINED.I'VE SEEN MANY VASES THAT HAVE THE TRANSITIONAL LEAF MARK ON THEM THAT ARE NOT OF PERIOD.
  • IT MEASURES APPROX 11 Cm's HIGH AND IS 8 Cm's DIAMETER.
