This is a beautiful, very hard to find 13\" Lenci or Lenci type Boy Doll called Jackie Coogan in his original Outfit. He was a Vaudeville and Silent Film Child Star born in 1914. He was discovered by Charlie Chaplin and played with Chaplin in \'The Kid\'. Fabulous condition with dark blonde mohair wig, zig zag stitching up the back of he head which swivels. Painted cloth face coloring is nice and bright with gray brows, brown side glancing eyes, circled in black and two tone lips. He has jointed limbs with fingers stitched together except thumb. Two tiny holes in the felt on the inside of right palm and two on the back of left shoe and no touch-ups. Outfit shows slight common expected dust as does his face but great condition and color for the age. Original Shoes. Wonderful, wonderful doll for any Lenci or cloth doll collector. Looks like the doll is dressed as \'Peck\'s Bad Boy\' or \'My Boy\' film. This old little Coogan vinyl doll comes with him. Smoke free home. Thanks for Looking. Short lay-a-way is offered.
