HERE IS A EXTREMELY RARE BEAUTIFUL, MUSEUM QUALITY, ANTIQUE APOTHECARY\'S STORE DISPLAY GLASS HEAD. In my opinion, it is in MINT Condition for its age. This was used as Display or Decoration in the Apothecary\'s Store in the late 1880\'s to the early 1910\'s the latest where this originally came from. Glass itself has a very light greenish blue color. glass is Crystal clear, no haze to it. At the very top of the head there is approx. 1\" of solid glass which has quite a few air bubbles (some of them large) in the glass-see photo. There is also two other air bubbles behind his left ear. There is a well defined seam down the center of the head from the antique mold. Glass is still Very Clear. There is very light wear at the bottom edge rim. Excellent DETAIL in the eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Glass head measures approx. 11 1/2\" tall. The base measures approx. 4 1/4\" diameter. EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
