You are viewing an extremely rare, museum quality chipping iron golf club made byLillywhite in the 1930\'s. An example of this rare and uniqueclub is on display at the LillywhiteFamily Museum in Palm Coast, Florida, a member of the American Alliance of Museums.

The club features an unusual head and Pyratone steelshaftand was intended for use as a chipping iron. The head is marked with Lillywhites \"Nonfooze\" in script on the base as well as with the number 12. It is also marked with the name of the club maker, C. Carter in script, believed to be Charles Carter of the town Yeovil in Somerset, England. The head also has a Cleek Mark of an Old Priory or French Farmhouse or an Oast House and Barn according to the museum\'s website feature on this club. Finally,the club hasthe stamping of PAT APP FOR on the distinguishing protrusion from the back of the head.

This beautiful antique golf club is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for and preserved. The leather wrap grip is original and held on with black twine. It has no cracks and is amazingly not dried out (see pictures).

The club is approximately 35\" measured to the heel of the head. The head is approximately 4\" long from heel to toe.
