The only identifying markings are on the bottom. \"CHROME ELK CALF\" is Stamped. I have never ever seen a suitcase made from Elk Leather; so cool. Also it has Patent numbers on the metal claps. One of which is stamped July 12, \'21. Really 1921? Yes really. Nearly 100 years old and it such clean shape; amazing!
You are looking at very RARE AND CLEAN Vintage 1920\'s Antique Leather Suitcase w/Belt Straps Wardrobe Compartments with beautiful cream and brown plaid interior with only minor signs of use.
This item would be a great decorative piece or prop or addition to a classic car luggage rack.

The corners, edges, and other spots add up to a beautifully distressed piece of art! The brass button and handles work fine. The plaid interior has little wear and in excellent shape for the age of this case... All the straps, snaps, and zippers work fine.
Notice the atttention to detail; \"shell pearl snaps\" They are not plastic as it was made before plastic. Guessing from the 1920\'s.
